CAN I NOT JUST USE SPOTIFY, ITUNES OR OTHER STREAMING SERVICES FOR MUSIC?

Unlike streaming and download services, every track we supply is licensed for public performance by PPL and MCPS. So you will not have to worry about the legalities of the music, as playing in store music that isn’t licensed for commercial use is illegal.

 

HOW DO OUR PLAYERS WORK

MAV are able to programme music to suit the everyday requirements of your operation; whether that be late night bar grooves to get people on the dance floor, or relaxing music in the spa. We operate on an out-of-mind out-of-sight policy, that means you can focus on other important aspects of the business, and still get the perfect soundtrack. Tracks are cut to minimise quiet-intros and the end of tracks to maximise the listening experience and maintain the ambience and change throughout the day.

With Revolution also comes mobile and tablet application ‘Secret DJ’, which allows you to tailor your playlists by altering the vibe and creating a list of dislikes, so we can amend your playlists accordingly.

All you need to run the system is a power source and an auxiliary connection to your audio system. We provide all of the necessary cables to facilitate this and have tech support on hand throughout the day. For updates you will need an ethernet port or WiFi dongle, the former of which we supply.

 

WHAT DEVICES DOES THE APP RUN ON

‘Secret DJ’ can be run on all major Android and Apple tablets and phones.

 

HOW LONG IS A MUSIC TRIAL

A music trial with MAV is one free month, after which we are sure you will be happy with our service and renew!

 

CAN YOU OPERATE OUTSIDE THE UK?

MAV Music has worked on a number of global rollouts, from international brands like wagamama, to independent operators in Asia, the Americas and continental Europe. We have a complete global music license and can provide round-the-clock technical support to all territories.

 

DO YOU USE ALGORITHMS?

All of our playlists are bespoke. Meaning they are built from the ground up and each track is selected individually to match the specific vibe of your business.

 

HOW OFTEN WILL MY MUSIC BE UPDATED?

Music is updated on a monthly basis, with the number of songs added dependent on which subscription you have signed up for. This can range from 20 to more than 100, to keep your playlists fresh for staff and customers.
